Kurtis Rourke wins Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week for second time this season

Indiana Hoosiers senior quarterback Kurtis Rourke has won the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week for second time this season.

Rourke completed 25-of-33 passes for 380 yards and three touchdowns in a road win over Northwestern 41-24. The Canadian currently leads the Big Ten in touchdown passes (14), passing yards (1,752), yards per attempts (10.9) and passer rating (192.1).

Egbuka and Rourke shared the B1G’s Offensive Player of the Week award for Week 6 with theleague handing out 5 individual honors for the weekend.

He is the first Indiana quarterback with 3 plus touchdowns in 3 B1G games in a season since 1967 and led the Hoosiers to their 6-0 start and bowl eligibility.

The Ohio University graduate transfer quarterback is trying to become the first IU player to ever win the Heisman Trophy in Hooisers history and also lead IU to a Big Ten title and College Football Playoff berth.
