Indiana senior receiver Donaven McCulley has entered the transfer portal, according to a source confirmed to IndyStar.

He previously entered the transfer portal following the firing of Tom Allen as IU coach, but was came back to Bloomington and Curt Cignetti, despite heavy interest from Texas A&M, Penn State and Michigan.

The 6-foot-5, 205-pound talented wideout caught two passes for 21 yards and a touchdown in four appearances this season, which is very underwhelming with this size and talent he posseses.

A native of Indianapolis, McCulley attended Lawrence North High School. He arrived in Bloomington before the 2021 season, starting his collegiate career as a quarterback before transitioning to receiver in the spring of 2022.

In 2023, McCulley led the Hoosiers in receiving, catching 48 passes for 644 yards and six touchdowns. He was named an All-Big Ten honorable mention.

Indiana has a talented wideout room that includes three wide receivers with nine or more receptions through five games — Elijah Sarratt, Myles Price, Omar Cooper, Miles Cross, and Ke’Shawn Williams.

IU is 5-0 for the first time since 1967 and ranked No. 24 in the latest coaches poll.

Indiana, returns to action Saturday at 3:30 p.m. EST against Northwestern at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium in Evanston, Illinois.
