Former Indiana Hoosier men’s soccer player Samuel Sarver recently signed a professional contract with the North Texas Soccer Club earlier this month, he will be joining up with the MLS NEXT Pro team for the 2025 season which kicks off this week.
Forward Samuel Sarver was the 41st overall pick in the second round by FC Dallas. A four-year player at Indiana, Sarver played 90 collegiate matches with the Hoosiers. He was named to the All-Big Ten First Team in 2024. Sarver came up in the Columbus Crew youth academy, where he played in 55 matches.
Sarver scored 24 goals to go along with 22 assists in his four seasons at Indiana. Sophomore forward Collins Oduro and Senior defender Jasen Miller were also selected in the 2025 MLS Super Draft.
North Texas SC plays in the MLS NEXT Pro league, the third division of American soccer. Founded in 2018, it functions as the minor league team for the MLS’ FC Dallas.

North Texas SC, are the reigning 2024 MLS NEXT Pro champions, NTSC starts the season on the road March 9th versus Saint Louis City II at Energizer Park.
