No. 25 ranked Indiana women's basketball (1-1) loss to Harvard in a thrilling upset at home Thursday evening, 72-68.

The Hoosiers came into the game with the ninth longest home winning streak in the country at 18 games and had won their past 17 straight non-conference games at Assembly Hall.

Head coach Teri Moren preached about her teams struggles in their win over Brown Monday and those struggles carried over to yesterday's loss versus Harvard.

"“It bothers me that I have to go into halftime and have those conversations about being disciplined,” Moren said. “We left a shooter off the strong side. We never do that. We switched a guard to five ball screen. We never do that. So it’s those little things that, if you don’t nip it in the butt real quick, those are the things that are going to get your ass beat, and our kids know that.”"

Harvard senior guard Harmoni Turner led all scorers with 24 points. Junior guard Yarden Garzon and junior center Lilly Meister each finished with 20 points as the Hoosiers racked up 27 turnovers.

Indiana (1-1) next travels to take on Butler University on Nov. 13 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
