Saturday's matchup between the Indiana Hoosiers and Western Kentucky Hilltoppers isn't going to be the most-watched game of the weekend. Several other marquee matchups, including No. 7 LSU vs No. 8 Ole Miss and No. 16 SMU at No. 23 Louisville, are the headliners of Week 3. But with that being said, there are still plenty of reasons to tune into this contest.

Indiana is looking to move to 3-0 following a pair of lopsided wins over North Texas and Howard to begin the season. Josh Hoover is looking to fine tune his game prior to Big Ten play, Charlie Becker is aiming to continue his eye-popping start, and the Hoosier defense is still working through some depth chart changes due to injuries.

5 reasons the Indiana Hoosiers will blow out Western Kentucky in Week 3

On paper, the Hoosiers should have no trouble moving to 3-0 in convincing fashion. The Hoosiers have a wide talent gap over the Hilltoppers at every position, and WKU is playing its third straight road game after starting the season with trips to Nevada and No. 2 Georgia over the last two weeks. No matter how you slice it, Indiana has a substantial edge in this matchup. Vegas oddsmakers agree.

Final betting odds for Indiana vs. Western Kentucky

WKU is also 0-2 against the spread after losing its first two games by a combined score of 119-34. The over is 2-0 for Western Kentucky and 1-1 for Indiana through each of their first two games.

Western Kentucky +44.5 (-108)

Final score prediction for Indiana vs. Western Kentucky

Indiana has rolled in each of its first two games, but with Big Ten play right around the corner, Curt Cignetti will want to clean some things up and generate as much momentum as possible before taking on Northwestern next Friday.

In an ideal world, Indiana is able to cruise out to a big lead, and while evaluating depth will be important, giving the starters enough time to get into a rhythm prior to Big Ten play could be beneficial. The first-teamers haven't played much in the second halves through two games, but don't be surprised if that changes in this one.

WKU is also bruised and bettered after two tough road games to start the season, and things won't get any easier for them in Bloomington. Indiana should roll. Hoosiers win 62-10.
