A source told KSR and On3Sports that 6-foot-3 incoming senior Yarden Garzon was contacted by the Kentucky Wildcats upon entering the transfer portal on Monday. On3’s Talia Goodman has reported that Yarden Garzon entered the portal with a “do not contact” tag.

Garzon has also received major interest from UCLA, USC and Maryland, among several others schools.

Garzon led the Indiana Hoosiers in scoring this season, averaging 14.4 points a game. She also added 5.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, earning her second team All-Big Ten honors in her junior season at Indiana.

Yarden Garzon is the all-time leading 3-point shooter in Indiana women's basketball history doing so in only three seasons. She made 220 3-point shots which is the most of all-time for IU and her 42.6% 3-point percentage is also a program record.

A native of Ra’anana, Israel, she was a four-star recruit by Premier Basketball Report. She joins five other Indiana players in Jules LaMendola, Lexus Bargesser, Lilly Meister, Henna Sandvik, and Sharnecce Currie-Jelks who have entered the transfer portal.

Garzon’s likely departure leaves junior guard Shay Ciezki as the only Hoosiers starter left to return to Bloomington for the 2025-26 season for head coach Teri Moren's program.
