The Basketball Tournament, a summer tournament that features alumni from schools across college basketball is set to return this summer with a regional at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Dates were announced on Wednesday and the Indiana squad Assembly Ball be apart of TBT once more.
The Assembly Ball team will be co-hosts of the regional along with the Butler Bulldogs alumni team All Good Dawgs.
“There is nothing better than experiencing basketball at iconic Hinkle Fieldhouse,” Butler vice president and athletic director Grant Leiendecker said. “The return of the TBT to Hinkle once again provides our great fans with the opportunity to support some of their favorite Bulldogs through the All Good Dawgs team. We’re excited to welcome the event back to Hinkle in July.”

Per TBT press release: All regional hosts have the right to HOME COURT ADVANTAGE all the way through TBT’s Championship Game!
On May 6, tickets to all 8 regionals will go on sale. The first team to sell 4,000 tickets will earn Home Court Advantage. The other seven hosts will be ranked according to fastest to 4,000 tickets sold.
The Indianapolis Regional of the TBT will be played at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Butler’s campus from July 18-23.

The team was coached by Adam Ross, who coached former Hoosier Will Sheehey at Sagemont High School in Florida. Assistant coaches include Isaac Green, who's currently a video and player development analyst for the Indiana men's basketball program, and Jared Callanan, who played at Iowa Wesleyan College.
Christian Watford, who played at Indiana from 2009-13, will serve as the team's GM, along with AJ Mahar, who played at Bryant University.
The Basketball Tournament (TBT) takes place from July 18th through August 3rd.
