Indiana state passing leader Maverick Geske commits to Hoosiers

Two-star quarterback Maverick Geske from Indianapolis (IN) Brebeuf Jesuit Prep HS committed to Indiana on Friday.

The late signing of Geske was needed as the Indiana native and local star was the only quarterback signing in the class of 2025.

Geske led the state of Indiana in passing yards as he threw for 4,039 yards, 40 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He threw for 360 yards per game on a 66.3 percent completion rate.

The 6-foot, 205-pound Geske, named a Class 4A all-state quarterback by theIndiana Football Coaches Association,

This is the second straight season that Indiana has landed a quarterback recruit from the state of Indiana. Last season, they landed four-star Tyler Cherry in 2024 from Center Grove HS in Indianapolis

Geske is rated as the No. 220 quaterback in the 2025 class and the 73rd player in the state of Indiana overall per 247Sports Composite
