The Indiana Hoosiers and Darian DeVries are doing everything they can to rebuild the 2025-26 men's basketball roster.

DeVries has landed three transfers in former Drake point guard Conor Enright, his son Tucker DeVries (West Virginia) and power forward Reed Bailey from Davidson and is now working on landing Syracuse big man Eddie Lampkin.

According to a report by League Ready, Indiana is among the multiple programs that have reached out to former Syracuse center Eddie Lampkin about joining their rosters through the transfer portal. The Hoosiers join Arkansas, Auburn, Virginia, Texas A&M, and USC that are showing early interest in the 6-11 center.

Lampkin has played five seasons of college basketball but was granted an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA due to COVID-19, in 2020-21.

He has played a total of 137 college basketball games over five seasons. He spent three years at TCU, one year at Colorado and one year at Syracuse.

The 6-10 veteran center averaged 11.5 points and 9.7 rebounds for Syracuse last season.

Lampkin is not the only Indiana Hoosiers target waiting on a medical wavier request from the NCAA. Luke Goode and Tucker DeVries are both waiting for approved waivers to be eligible to play for Indiana next season. Portal target Ante Brzovic from Charleston also has a pending request.
