The Indiana Hoosiers football program has made AP Poll history after their statement win over the Oregon Ducks on Saturday at Autzen Stadium.

The 30–20 upset at No. 3 Oregon on Saturday, pushed the Hoosiers to 6–0 start and vaulted the program into the national for the College Football Playoff picture.

The move up to No. 3 in the Associated Press college football poll on Sunday is the highest ranking in Hoosiers program history.

The Hoosiers previous highest ranking was No. 4, achieved in 1945 and 1967. The 2024 Hoosiers reached as high as No. 5 before losing to Ohio State last season.

The Ohio State Buckeyes and Miami Hurricanes stayed at the top while Indiana earned a four-spot jump for their 10 point upset at Oregon. No. 4 Texas A&M and No. 5 Ole Miss swapped spots after the Aggies' dominate 17 point win over Florida and Ole Miss's struggle against un-ranked Washington State by 3 at home.

"We're a real team," quarterback Fernando Mendoza told ESPN after Saturday's win. "We're not just a one-hit wonder."

""This is why we play this game. That's why you come to Indiana.""
Aiden Fisher

Indiana now has a 92.5% chance to make the College Football Playoff, per ESPN Analytics.

Indiana will host Michigan State (3-3, 0-3 Big Ten) at 3:30 p.m. Saturday inside Memorial Stadium in Bloomington on Peacock.
