According to On3's Pete Nakos, the Indiana Hoosiers are an early program to watch for former Tennessee and Liberty senior quarterback Kaidon Salter.

Kaidon Salter who spent the last four seasons at Liberty, entered the transfer portal Thursday and according to On3's Nakos, Salter's emerging schools will be Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, Syracuse, Indiana, and Auburn.

The former four-star recruit never actually played a down at Tennessee as he was dismissed from the Vols program (due to multiple drug related incidents) a couple of months before the start of the 2021 season.

Salter passed for 5,887 yards and 56 touchdowns during his time at Liberty. He also rushed for 2,013 yards and 21 touchdowns. with a 27-7 record which includes a NY6 bowl berth to the Fiesta Bowl.

Salter has one year of eligibility remaining and his transfer destination is unknown at this time but Auburn seems to be the favorite as he played under Auburn Tiger head coach Hugh Freeze for two season at Liberty in Lynchburg.
