Indiana are coming off a bye week but came in this week at No. 16 in the nation in the latest AP Top 25 poll.

Two weeks ago the Hoosiers were ranked No. 23 and last week IU was No. 18 so it's safe to say this weeks matchup versus Nebraska at home is a massive one nationally.

This is Indiana's highest ranking in the AP Top 25 poll since the end of the 2020 season, when it was ranked No. 12 and had a 6-2 record. Under coach Tom Allen, Indiana was ranked as high as No. 7 in the nation that season.

Indiana benefitted from losses by Ole Miss and Oklahoma, who both dropped below the Hoosiers.

Indiana is 6-0 ahead of Saturday's homecoming game against Nebraska, which kicks off at Noon ET on FOX at Memorial Stadium.

The Homecoming matchup will be televised on FOX's Big Noon Kickoff and FOX's pregame show will also broadcast live from Bloomington. IU announced last week a sellout crowd, the first sellout at Memorial Stadium since the 2021 season.
