247Sports national analyst Eric Bossi wrote this about Jackson last month:
“A 6-foot-7 do-it-all wing who has a way above average base of skills, he can play point guard for a stretch and then fluidly switch to playing as a small ball four man. He can shoot, he can pass and while he’s still a bit on the lean side, he’s got a tremendous frame to build on and should be able to blossom in a college weight room.”
Based on the average of the national recruiting sites, Sammy Jackson is a three-star recruit, the No. 134 overall player in the class, and the No. 41 small forward in the nation.
According to 247Sports Composite, Jackson is the No. 94 overall player nationally, the 35th best small forward and the No. 1 player on the state of Pennsylvania in the class of 2026.
Indiana has been on a class of 2026 offering spree lately, with offers to Ethan Taylor, Latrell Allmond, Jordan Smith Jr, Prince-Alexander Moody and Sebastian Wilkins.
