The Indiana Hoosiers and Mike Woodson lost out on Eric Reibe, a 4-star center rated as the No. 27 overall senior nationally per 247Sports.

Reibe chose Dan Hurley and the UConn Huskies over Indiana, Creighton, Kansas and Oregon. He visited all five schools over the past couple of months but will be taking his talents to Storrs (CT).

"The player development stood out to me, especially with Donovan Clingan ," Reibe told ESPN. "Sending six players to the league in two years and winning two national championships is very special. Coach Hurley's plan with me aligns perfectly and I have a great relationship with all the coaches and players. It was an indescribable feeling that told me UConn is home."

The 7-foot, 235-pounder took an official visit to Bloomington on Sept. 20 and would have been the Hoosiers’ second commitment in the class of 2025, joining 4-star forward Trent Sisley.

Reibe is originally from Germany and playing his senior year of high school at Washington (DC) Bullis School.

Indiana’s 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 54 nationally, according to 247Sports with Sisley as the only current commit.
