Indiana men’s basketball kicked off summer workouts this week as Indiana coach Darian DeVries announced the Hoosiers’ initial roster for the 2025-26 season.

“We like the way the roster came together,” DeVries said in a press release. “We added a lot of quality shooters, which is a priority for us. We were also able to bring in good positional size and great depth. We like the way the pieces will all connect and the versatility we will be able to play with. They can complement each other on the floor.”

“We still have a couple open spots we’re actively recruiting, to see if there’s something that fits and makes sense,” DeVries told the IndyStar “We can kind of go in a lot of different directions with that, as the roster stands today.”

Two noticeable names not on the Indiana roster were fifth year seniors Luke Goode and Anthony Leal.

According to Peegs.com, and 247Sports the Indiana graduate, Leal is appealing to the NCAA for another year of eligibility, looking to be a sixth year senior with the program.

Leal finished the season averaging a career-high 3.3 points per game while shooting 57.8% from the field, 41.2% on 17 3-point attempts and 61.9% at the free throw line.

Goode, an Illinois transfer spent three seasons with the Illini and averaged 4.1 points and 2.6 rebounds on 39.2 percent shooting and 38.8 percent shooting from 3-point range.

Luke Goode transferred to Indiana ahead of the 2024-25 season playing in 32 games averaging 9.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, 41.4 field goal shooting % and 39.2 from 3PT range in 26.7 minutes per game.

Indiana's new roster was rated 10th overall by 247Sports' transfer portal rankings and 18th in On3's transfer portal rankings.
