Indiana Hoosiers linebacker Aiden Fisher was recently featured on an a new episode of Player's Perspective on Hoosiers Connect, it was hosted by former Indiana Hoosier legend and WNBA player Mackenzie Holmes.
Fisher has one more year of eligibility left. He played at James Madison from 2022-23 and transferred to Indiana prior to the 2024 season.
Aiden Fisher led the Hoosiers with 108 total tackles, which ranked third in the Big Ten Conference he also had 4.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and broke up three passes. Fisher was named First Team All-American by the (FWAA) Football Writers Association of America, First Team All-Big Ten and a Butkus Award Semi-Finalist.
“It’s hard to put into words how important he’s been,” Indiana defensive coordinator Bryant Haines said last year of Fisher. “He’s part of the culture change here. He’s part of my voice, my mouth piece to the guys on the field. He’s the green dot. He’s the leader. He’s the unquestioned leader.
According to PFF, Pro Football Focus Fisher only scored at 67.4 in overall defense, 15th among Hoosiers who played at least 10 snaps per game.
After Indiana’s 27-17 loss to Notre Dame in the first round of the College Football Playoff, he announced he will return for his senior season.
