Former California Golden Bear wide receiver Jonathan Brady is set to reunite with Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza in Bloomington as he is transferring to Indiana after one season in Berkley.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound wide receiver from Cal entered his name into the transfer portal on April 23rd according to On3 Sports' Hayes Fawcett
Jonathan Brady also had major offers from Miami, Tennessee and SMU.
Brady played with Cal for one lone season in 2024 and had receiving 386 yards and three touchdowns on 36 receptions.
Previously Brady played 41 games in his college career across Cal and New Mexico State. The slot receiver has career totals of 98 receptions for 1,317 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Brady's best game last season was against rival Stanford, where he caught the game-winning touchdown from Fernando Mendoza capping a five reception, 64 yards, two touchdown performance.
Brady also has experience on special teams in the return game. In his two seasons at New Mexico State he returned 16 kickoffs for 316 yards and had 11 punt returns for 93 yards for the Aggies.
Brady a native of Las Vegas, Nevada attended west coast powerhouse Bishop Gorman in Summerlin (NV). He was a two star recruit in the 2022 class, rated as the No. 2198 player in the nation, the No. 262 wide receiver and the 23rd best player overall in the state of Nevada according to 247Sports Composite
The Hoosiers are fresh off a trip to the College Football Playoff after posting an impressive 11-1 regular season. The Hoosiers fell to Notre Dame in the first round, 27-17. They will look to best or maintain that this season with a well balanced attack on offense and defense, adding depth with players like Jonathan Brady will help that cause in 2025-26.
