Indiana Hoosiers are ranked No. 5 in the latest AP Poll, released Sunday afternoon.
In last week's second College Football Playoff rankings release, Indiana was ranked No. 5 in the nation. The next College Football Playoff reveal is at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday night on ESPN, IU is projected to be ranked in the top ten once again as they are coming off a bye.
The four highest-ranked conference champions get the top four seeds and first-round byes. The Hoosiers are currently a No. 7 seed that would host a first-round matchup against No. 10 Alabama.
Teams ranked in the B1G conference: Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State are all in the top five including Indiana. Illinois is also ranked at No. 24 in the nation.
Indiana travels to Buckeye Stadium on Saturday afternoon for a huge road matchup at No. 2 Ohio State. Kickoff is set for noon ET on FOX with Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt and Jenny Taft on the call. ESPN's 'College GameDay' and FOX's 'Big Noon Kickoff' will both be in Columbus ahead of the game.
