The Indiana Hoosiers are now 10-0 overall and 7-0 in the Big Ten as they survived a thrilling 27-24 win against the Penn State Nittany Lions on the road. The Hoosiers secured their tenth win in a row keeping them securely in their No. 2 ranking the AP and Coaches Poll this week.

Indiana has been nationally ranked for 24 consecutive weeks including being ranked No. 2 five weeks in a row.

The game was back and fourth early on and for the majority of the first half it was 10-7 and 17-7 going into the half.

Penn State trailed the Indiana Hoosiers 20-7 early in the third quarter, but the Nittany Lions took the lead in the fourth with a pair of touchdowns on back-to-back drives by star running back Nick Singleton. Indiana and junior signal-caller Fernando Mendoza had a true legacy drive at the end of the game to take the lead late in the fourth quarter though. Mendoza and the Hoosiers offense final, 80-yard drive through the final two minutes lead to a score score on a 7-yard, game-winning touchdown by Omar Cooper Jr. in what was one of the best throws and catches of the year and the most memorable in Hoosiers history.

The Hoosiers hosts (3-5) Wisconsin on Saturday, the game will be televised on the Big Ten Network. Wisconsin is coming off their biggest win off the season against No. 23 Washington in a 13-10 win. The Badgers also announced they will be retaining head coach Luke Fickell after his up and down tenure in Madison.
