Eric Rivers, one of the top wide outs in the country this past season has entered the transfer portal and has Indiana as one of many schools as a target according to a report from On3’s Pete Nakos,

The junior wide receiver had a breakout season for the FIU Panthers in 2024, as he caught 62 receptions, 1,172 receiving yards, and 12 receiving touchdowns. His 12 touchdown catches were also an FIU program record for a single season.

Rivers has one year of eligibility remaining and began his career at Memphis before transferring to FIU in 2023 and finishing with 32 catches for 370 yards that season. Then he broke out this past year, finishing with 62 catches for 1,172 yards and 12 touchdowns per On3 Sports

Expect the Hoosiers to push here for a receiver who can change the game’s complexion with just one play. With the expected losses of Myles Price and Miles Cross, Rivers could be a huge land for the IU program this off-season.
