Indiana Hoosiers recruiting class signed 21 prospects in the class of 2025 on National Signing Day.

Cignetti said 14 of those players will enroll early and join the Hoosiers for spring practice, and the remaining seven will enroll in the fall and report to Bloomington this summer.

But which Indiana players will impact the Hoosiers early and impress Curt Cignetti enough to get snaps and possibly start in the 2025 class?

We'll take a look here with the top five players who could start early for the Hoosiers in 2025.

1. Tyrone Burrus Jr (EDGE)

Indianapolis (IN) Warren Central defensive end Tyrone Burrus Jr., is a 6-foot-4, 235-pound defensive end who is ranked as the No. 37 edge rusher in the class according to 247Sports.

With Mikial Kamara and Lannell Carr heading to the NFL as seniors Burrus Jr may be a freshman starter or a rotational player at edge rusher early on.

2. Byron Baldwin (Safety)

Four-star safety out of Baltimore, Maryland Byron Baldwin is the highest rated recruit in the 2025 class for the Hoosiers. The Maryland native is the No. 188 overall prospect and No. 17 safety in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

Expect Baldwin to be in the rotation with Amare Farrell and Bryson Bonds.

3. Davion Chandler (WR)

In his three years as a starter at Lawrence North his receiving statistics include 111 receptions for 2,039 yards and 24 touchdowns.

Chandler will be a early factor with seniors, Ke'Shawn Williams, Miles Cross and Myles Price all set to graduate after the season.

4. Triston Abram (EDGE)

Three-star edge rusher Triston Abram from Christian Brothers HS in Saint Louis (MO) had 50 tackles, 12 sacks, 10 tackles for loss and 3 pass break ups in his senior season. Abram along with Burrus Jr will compete for edge rusher snaps in 2025.

5. Jaylen Bell (Cornerback)

Jaylen Bell out of Grayson HS in Georgia is a consensus three-star recruit, ranked No. 626 in the nation, No. 57 among cornerbacks and No. 68 in Georgia among class of 2025 recruits, per the 247 Sports Composite rankings.

Bell could certainly fill in at nickelback for IU's defense in 2025. With the potential losses of Terry Jones Jr, Cedarius Doss and Nic Toomer, the speedy Bell could see the field early on.
