Indiana head football coach Curt Cignetti has a clean sweep of coach of the year awards this post-season as he was been named Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year by the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA).

He was selected from finalists including Shane Beamer of South Carolina, Spencer Danielson of Boise State, Kenny Dillingham of Arizona State, Marcus Freeman of Notre Dame, Dan Lanning of Oregon, Rhett Lashlee of SMU, Jeff Monken of Army and Kirby Smart of Georgia.

On Tuesday, Cignetti was named The Associated Press Coach of the Year, receiving 30 of 45 votes from AP Top 25 voters. The honor comes after he was named Home Depot National Coach of the Year last week.

Indiana's 11-1 regular season record and College Football Playoff berth made it an easy choice for the national media and voters to make Cignetti the winner of the National Coach of The Year award. IU had their best season in school history and Cignett's first year turn around of the Hoosiers is one of the best program turns in recent memory in college football.

The first-round matchup against the Irish is set to kickoff inside Notre Dame Stadium at 8 p.m. EST. The game will air on ABC/ESPN.
