Indiana Hoosiers center Oumar Ballo was recently announced to the preseason All-Big Ten team after transferring from Arizona this summer.

The 7-0, 260-pound center averaged 11.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game in three seasons at Arizona.

The sixth year senior also attended Gonzaga for his first two seasons to start his collegiate career.

Ballo has played in 132 games with 71 starts in his college career and his accomplishments include being named a two-time All-Pac-12 First Team selection and made the Pac-12 All-Defensive team last season.

"Oumar is a dominating post presence on both ends of the floor with a winning background. His experience playing at the highest level will elevate our program. He is a big fella with soft touch around the rim, good hands, and solid footwork. He is very physical and is a perfect fit in our system and our league. We are really happy to have Oumar in Bloomington." head coach Mike Woodson stated
