Where will former Indiana Hoosiers star Cody Zeller land after Atlanta Hawks general manager Landry Fields said they have not finalized plans for veteran backup center Zeller’s role or even his place on the roster?

An 11-year NBA veteran, Zeller has appeared in 552 career games (275 starts), averaging 7.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 20.9 minutes, suiting up for Charlotte, Portland, Miami, and New Orleans.

Last season with the Pelicans, averaged 1.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in 7.4 minutes, playing in 43 games total.

The Cleveland Cavs, Charlotte Hornets and San Antonio Spurs could all be suitors for the Indiana native if the Hawks decide to let him go before seasons start.

The 32 year-old Zeller, played at Indiana 2012-2013 averaging 16.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game and 59.3% from the field. He was first-team All-Big Ten for the 2013 season and Big Ten freshamn of the year in 2012 prior to being drafted fourth overall by the Charlotte Hornets.
