The main reason he picked Indiana, is head coach Darian DeVries. Moody has invested in building a real relationship with him.
"That's my guy. We talk all the time. He's been texting me since he first offered me. He kept in contact with me. He built a relationship with me. That's the best thing you can do as a head coach is build a relationship, and me and him have a tight bond," Moody told Peegs.com about DeVries.
The 6-foot-4 Moody is listed as a combo guard by 247Sports and is rated the No. 149 player nationally according to the 247Sports Composite. 247Sports also ranks Moody as the 13th best combo guard and the No. 5 overall prospect from the state of Maryland.
Moody attends Bishop McNamara in Maryland and also plays for Team Takeover on the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) circuit.
