Indiana Hoosiers men's basketball is one of many programs who have reached out to San Francisco guard transfer Tyrone Riley IV according to Sam Kayser of 24/7 High School Hoops

The other schools who have reached out include Kansas State, Michigan, Texas Tech, Arkansas, Florida, Texas A&M, Creighton, USC, UCLA, Arizona, Oregon, Mississippi State, Texas, St. John’s Arizona, Baylor, Washington, Oregon State and Grand Canyon.

Riley started and played in 34 games as a true freshman for the San Fransisco Dons this season, averaging 9.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.2 steals. Riley shot 32 percent from three point range and 50 percent on field goal attempts from the field this season. Riley also made 73 percent of his free throw attempts this season.

Riley was named to the West Coast Conference All-Freshmen team after an impressive year for the Dons this year, leading them to a 25-10 record and a NIT appearance.

The 6-foot-6, 180-pound guard was a four-star recruit and is the the No. 74 overall player and No. 10 small forward in the NCAA transfer portal according to 247Sports

Riley has three years of eligibility left in his college basketball career.

As of now, Indiana currently has no returning players for the 2025-26 season. Every player from Indiana’s 2024-25 roster has either graduated or entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, including seven transfers in the past ten days.
