Hoosiers football gets commitment from Indiana three-star athlete Parker Elmore

The Indiana Hoosiers football program has landed a commitment from in state product and 2026 athlete Parker Elmore.

Elmore hails from Columbus North High School in Columbus, Indiana and is rated as a consensus three-star prospect in the national recruiting rankings for the class of 2026.

Elmore plays both tight end and outside linebacker at Columbus North but projects as a tight end at the college level. He ranks as the No. 5 player overall in the state of Indiana and No. 41 overall amongst tight ends in the class per 247Sports Composite

Elmore took his official visit last week for an Indiana summer camp, and he also made an unofficial visit back in April for a spring practice in Bloomington.

The 6-5, 230-pound Elmore previously played at Jennings County High, before transferring to Columbus North ahead of the 2024 season.

The two sport athlete who is also one of the best small forwards in the state, also held offers from Kent State, Illinois State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Central Michigan, Miami (OH), Northern Illinois, Western Michigan, and Indiana State.

Indiana now currently has sixteen total verbal commits now in the 2026 class including:
