Four-star safety Byron Baldwin, has been named a 2025 Under Armour All-American and has been selected to start in Tuesday game on ESPN representing the Indiana Hoosiers as their top ranked recruit in the class of 2025.
The 2025 Under Armour All-America Game is set to take place in DeLand (FL) Spec Martin Stadium on Jan. 2nd, with the game kicking off at 4 p.m. ET.
Baldwin is coming off a strong season at St. Frances, with 89 tackles, 4 pass breakups, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles, per 247Sports.
Baldwin will play safety from 'Team Icon' and was the top prospect in IU's 2025 recruiting class. The Baltimore Maryland native out of Saint Frances Academy is the No. 188 overall prospect and No. 17 safety in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking for the class of 2025.
Here is what the elite defensive back had to say about his trust in IU and the coaching staff:
"You can see the coaching works," Baldwin told 247Sports about Indiana. "It's not just that they have the best players and all that. They are really developing them and teaching the kids.
The new wrinkle to this year’s game is the addition of underclassmen. Players from the 2026 class will get the chance to take part in the 2025 Under Armour All-American Game this year.
Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti, defensive coordinator/linebackers coach Bryant Haines, safeties/defensive backs coach Ola Adams, cornerbacks coach Rod Ojong, quality control coach Eddie Burk Jr. and the rest of the staff will be looking for Baldwin to get meaningful reps versus all the top tier talent in the nation this week.
