Class of 2026 forward Latrell Allmond is down to nine schools and Indiana is among his finalists according to National Recruiting Analyst On3 Sports Joe Tipton
Four-star power forward prospect Latrell Allmond of Richmond, Virgina, released histop nine schools list on Friday afternoon, which included the Hoosiers. Indiana was joined by Michigan State, Tennessee, Maryland, Indiana, Virginia, Arizona, Kansas, Miami (FL) and Oklahoma State.

Notable schools to offer Allmond included Florida State, Georgetown, Michigan, Saint Joe's, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan, Mississippi State, Missouri, NC State, Ole Miss, Providence, Rutgers, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Virginia, Washington, College of Charleston and VCU.
Allmond is ranked as the No. 30 overall prospect, with recruiting rating of 98.81 in 247Sports' composite system. He is also listed as the No. 6 power forward and No. 2 player from Virginia in the class.
The 6-foot-8, 235-pound big man plays at John Marshall in Richmond, Virginia and for Team Loaded on the adidas 3SSB circuit.
According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, he averaged team-highs with 21 points, 2.3 blocks and a 63% field goal percentage as a high school junior. Allmond also had 7.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 44% from three point range and shot 76 percent % from the free throw line.
Now that Allmond has cut down his choices to nine, he has a timeline for when he wants to commit to a school.
"I want to make my decision on October 13th, which is my birthday”.
Indiana currently has one player committed in the class of 2026 in combo guard Prince-Alexander Moody.
