The 6-foot-9 and 205-pound forwardΒ Davion Adkins, attended Oak Cliff Faith Family in Dallas, Texas, prior to transferring to national powerhouse Prolific Prep in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
According to the On3 industry average, Adkins is the No. 36 overall player in the 2026 class, and the No. 5 power forward.Β He is the No. 3 player in the state of Florida in his class.
Adkins played for Southern Assault on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit this spring and summer, he averaged 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game while shooting 58.5% from the field.
Here is 247Sports national analyst Adam Finklestein's scouting report:
"Adkins is one of the most naturally talented frontcourt prospects in the class of 2026 and while his tools have been glaring for some time now, he's just starting to turn potential into production at a more consistent rate.
"He's a bouncy vertical athlete and major lob threat who can rise-up for emphatic finishes. He also has soft natural touch and clear long-term shooting potential that should eventually allow him to stretch the floor both vertically and to the arc."
"He currently is ranked as the top center in the national class, but he may be suited best as a power forward long term.
Adkins is also a consensus top-40 4-star prospect across all of the national recruiting sites.
Indiana is also getting visits from 2026 top-50 prospects Tay Kinney (Aug. 29-31) and Deron Rippey (Oct. 17-19) in the months to come.Β
