Big Ten Network and Fox Sports analyst Jake Butt is a believer in Indiana football.
The former Michigan Wolverine and Big Ten Network expert has four Indiana star football players in his top 20 overall players in the Big Ten Conference.
The players he included were Elijah Sarratt at No. 17, Aiden Fisher at No. 11, Mikail Kamara at No. 7 and the highest ranked Hoosier is junior cornerback D'Angelo Ponds at No. 6 overall behind Nicholas Singelton, Matayo Uiagalelei, Caleb Downs, Drew Allar and Jeremiah Smith.

Ponds has a breakout sophomore season with 55 total tackles (35 solo), 4.5 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, and a blocked punt, garnering him First-Team All Big Ten and Second-Team All-America honors.
Fisher earned first team All-American honors and in one season is number 16 overall in Indiana football history for most tackles. He was also named first team All Big Ten.
Kamara started all 13 games and led all of FBS total pressures with 73. He also had 47 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, two forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries.
Sarratt earned third-team All-Big Ten honors last season, after catching 53 passes, the most by any Indiana player since 2019 (Whop Philyor) for 957 yards (sixth in the Big Ten, and third in yards per reception) and eight touchdowns (tied for eighth in the conference).
