Indiana Hoosiers football lands commitment from Texas State DT Dominique Ratcliff

Texas State interior defensive lineman Dominique Ratcliff announced on Tuesday afternoon he has committed to IU for the 2025 season.

The 6-foot-3 and 280-pound Conroe, Texas native played in 36 games over the last three seasons for Texas State where he produced 64 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and five sacks.

Ratcliff spent his freshman season at Louisiana and was a three-star prospect in the 2020 class. He held offers from TCU, SMU, Houston, Virginia Tech amongst others.

"I'm puttin it all on red #NeverDaunted," Ratcliff posted on X.

Ratcliff was named an All-Sun Belt honorable mention by College Football Network and has the potential and game experience to replace starters James Carpenter and C.J. West along the interior of their defensive line.

Indiana recently landed a commitment from Western Kentucky defensive lineman Hosea Wheeler in the portal this week as well.

We will see if the all red gamble will pay off fro Indiana and Ratcliff in the 2024-25 season.
