New York Giants inside linebacker Micah McFadden has been one of the most underrated linebackers in the NFL and a true hidden gem for the past couple years and is a future star in this league.

McFadden had a stellar career, he finished his career with 216 tackles, 149 solo, 14 sacks (94 yards), 37 for loss (169 yards), four interceptions, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and four pass breakups.McFadden was honored as Indiana’s Anthony Thompson Most Valuable Player.

He then went on to be selected by the New York Giants in the 2022 NFL Draft. McFadden was a 5th round (146th overall) of the draft after one of the best combines at his position.

For his three-year career, McFadden has played in 47 games with 35 starts.  He has 267 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, and six sacks.

This season in 2024, McFadden suffered a nagging groin injury during the preseason that set him back, but he played in 14 games, starting in all 14 and had career-highs with 107 tackles and three sacks.  It was his second straight season with more than 100 tackles. 

McFadden added eight tackles for loss and six quarterback hits, along with a pass breakup, forced fumble and fumble recovery. 

McFadden is be a staple of the rebuild for Brian Daboll and the New York Giants going forward. The 6 foot 1, 245 pound linebacker will be a force in the NFL for many years to come. Let's see what McFadden can do in year four next season.
