Former Indiana Hoosiers forward Malik Reneau is down to five schools as he is set to transfer this off-season sources tell Joe Tipton of On3 Sports

Reneau's top schools on his finalist list include Auburn, USC, Michigan, Miami (FL) and Arkansas.

This past season, in 2024-25 Malik Reneau averaged 13.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, while playing 23.2 minutes. He also shot 55.2 percent from the field. The junior forward has been a starter at forward for Indiana for the last two seasons.

In three seasons in Bloomington, Reneau 13.3 points per game to go along with 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. He played in 94 games with 55 starts.

Reneau is among the seven Hoosier players who entered the transfer portal this off-season including Myles Rice, Kanaan Carlyle, Jakai Newton, Mackenzie Mgbako and Bryson Tucker. The other transfer was sophomore guard Gabe Cupps who transferred to Ohio State last week.

Reneau is the No. 14 overall player in the current On3 transfer portal rankings and the No. 3 power forward.
