The Indiana Hoosiers have been dealing with some key injuries throughout the past couple of weeks. But even with some reliable contributors sidelined, Indiana has been able to cruise to a 5-0 record to start the season. However, the competition is about to increase substantially the rest of the way.
The Hoosiers travel to Lincoln to take on undefeated Nebraska in Week 6, and with matchups against Ohio State, Michigan, USC, and Washington still looming, getting as healthy as possible is of the utmost importance for Curt Cignetti and company.
Heading into this Saturday's tilt against the Cornhuskers, the first official Big Ten availability report for Week 6 has Indiana fans breathing a big sigh of relief.
First Week 6 availability report brings good news all-around for Indiana
The biggest bit of good news from this week's initial availability report is that cornerback AJ Harris is not featured. Harris, a transfer from Penn State, went down in Week 1 against North Texas and hasn't been able to return to the field since. Harris has 35 appearances with 27 starts under his belt after one season at Georgia and two at Penn State. He came to Bloomington after an impressive junior season that saw him earn All-Big Ten defensive honorable mention recognition with the Nittany Lions in 2025. Jaylen Bell has played well in Harris' absence, but it seems that Harris now full-go for Week 6.

Defensive lineman Daniel Ndukwe is also off this week's availability report after missing Week 5 against Rutgers. His return brings even more depth and talent to Indiana's dangerous defensive front.
Last week, Indiana's top-four running backs all had separate injury designations. The good news is that Turbo Richard, Lee Beebe Jr, and Sean Cuono were all able to suit up against Rutgers. Adding to the good news, all three are absent from this week's availability report. That allows Hoosier football fans to take a deep breath knowing that RB depth won't be of any concern heading into the Nebraska game.
The lone Hoosier RB still sidelined is Khobie Martin, which doesn't come as a surprise as he continues to nurse a broken forearm that he suffered in Week 1. WR Lebron Bond has also been upgraded to questionable for Saturday's matchup against Rutgers.
Here is a look at Indiana's full Week 6 availability report:
OUT
DB Carson Williams
RB Khobie Martin
TE Andrew Barker
Questionable
WR Lebon Bond
The absences of Martin and Williams are expected, leaving the Hoosiers with few injury surprises at this time. The lone downside is Andrew Barker being ruled out. He was injured against Rutgers and won't be able suit up for the Nebraska game. All things considered, this initial Week 6 injury report brings plenty of good news for the Hoosiers.
Five players have been ruled out for Week 6 for the Cornhuskers: WR Larry Miles, DB Kahmir Prescott, LB Jase Reynolds, LB Jacob Bower, and DL Gabe Moore. Two other Cornhuskers, TE Carter Nelson and LB Gage Stenger are listed as doubtful. Kick-off betwen Indiana and Nebraska is set for Noon ET on Saturday afternoon.
