Indiana Football has a total of 22 official visits scheduled for the spring/summer according to 247Sports. The list continues to grow, as earlier this week the Hoosiers received some great recruiting news from one of the best defensive prospects in the country.
Curt Cignetti faces an uphill battle in keeping Indiana's Top 2027 WR from SEC powerhouse
David Folorunsho is an elite 4-star prospect who has scheduled five official visits for the coming months. On3's Hayes Fawcett reports that the talented defensive lineman is set to visit Indiana, Penn State, Miami (FL), Missouri and Notre Dame as he continues his decision-making process.

4-star DL David Folorunsho pencils in visit with Indiana Football
Hailing from Chicago, Folorunsho is ranked as the No. 13 defensive lineman in the country and No. 6 overall player in the state of Illinois for the 2027 recruiting class according to 247Sports Composite rankings. Nationally, he is ranked as the No. 103 prospect in the class.
Folorunsho's visit to Bloomington is scheduled for June 19, a day when 3-star RB prospect TJ Lewis is also slated to be on campus. Prior to his Indiana visit, Folorunsho will visit Purdue on May 29 and Missouri on June 5. The dates for Folorunsho's visits to Notre Dame and Penn State have yet to be announced. His list of offers now exceeds 30 teams, with Cignetti and the Hoosiers extending an offer on November 23.
Indiana remains in the hunt, but Notre Dame appears to the frontrunners at this point in time. According to Rivals, the Fighting Irish have a 93.8% chance to land Folorunsho's services. However, Folorunsho's upcoming visit to IU gives Cignetti a chance to turn the tables.
Among Indiana's 22 scheduled visits for the spring and summer, Folorunsho is one of six 4-star recruits slated to make their way to Bloomington. The lone 5-star of the group is WR Monshun Sales, who hails from Indianapolis and will visit IU on April 24.
Indiana's 2027 recruiting class currently features five commits: 4-star CB Monsanna Torbet Jr, 3-star QB Jameson Purcell, 3-star S Garyon Hobbs, 3-star WR Ja'Hyde Brown, and 3-star OT Jeremiah Jones. Cignetti is ont he prowl to add to that list, and luring Folorunsho away from Notre Dame would be a great place to start.
