Bradley head coach Brian Wardle stated this about Bargen
"We are very happy for Mike Bargen and his family in their move up to the Big Ten," Wardle said. "We have won a lot of games together, as teammates and as coaches. When you have had the consistent success we have had at Bradley, coaches moving up is inevitable.
"I just feel blessed to have had him by my side the last 10 years, which is rare in today's college coaching. Part of my job is not only developing players, but also preparing coaches for their next jobs.
Mike Bargen will join assistant coach Kenny Johnson, conditioning coach Ryan Horn, former Cincinnati assistant Drew Adams, and another from DeVries assistant Nick Norton on staff.
Former Woodson assistants Yasir Rosemond took a role at LSU, and Kenya Hunter is going to Texas, both as assistant coaches.
Garrett Sturtz, who played for DeVries at Drake and was his Director of Basketball Operations at West Virginia is also expected to take the same role at Indiana but it is to be determined.
