The Indiana Hoosiers are still fighting for the NCAA Tournament, but something every Hoosier fan is wondering about when the season is over is who the new head coach will be. Some programs that fired their head coaches early already have their new coaches lineup, like Florida State with Luke Loucks.

However, it seems like any time Indiana is on the trail of looking into someone or considering them for the position, the candidate says they are not entertaining the idea. It has happened with Brad Stevens and Dusty May and now with Clemson head coach Brad Brownell next on the list, it seems he isn't interested either.

When asked in a press conference about his name coming up in the coaching mill for the job at Indiana, Brownell made it very clear he has a good job right now and isn't planning on making any changes anytime soon.

"I'm not going to talk about potential jobs, I have a great job," Brownell said. "I am 100% focused on this team and what he got ahead of us and trying to do everything I can to try and help us continue to win the next game."

Brownell has been at Clemson for 15 years and even mentioned how he has sent his two daughters to the school. In his time at Clemson, Brownell has made it to four NCAA Tournament, making it to the Sweet 16 once in 2018 and the Elite Eight once just last year in 2024. The Tigers have also been to the NIT four times as well leaving just six seasons in which Clemson was not led to a postseason tournament un Brownell.

Indiana could use a coach who can get them to the tournament, or at least the NITs not in the tournament consistently. Brownell could be a great head coaching candidate, but he seems pretty content where he is. sometimes, things can change fast.

After Brownell, there are other coaches all being talked about when it comes to the head coach vacancy, but nothing will most likely be announced until after the Hoosiers season is officially over.
