The No. 2 Hoosiers (12-0, 9-0) will face No. 1 Ohio State (12-0, 9-0) Saturday evening at 8 p.m. ET inside Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. (FOX). 

The long-awaited, highly-anticipated and monster marquee matchup in the Big Ten championship game Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium marks the first No. 1 vs. No. 2 game involving Big Ten teams since 2006.

Ohio State and Indiana are the last two unbeaten teams remaining in college football. The Hoosiers earned their ranking in the regular season, beating No. 6 Oregon on the road, dominating Illinois at home and surviving another tough test versus Iowa and Penn State.

Ohio State hasn't lost a game in a calendar year dating back to last season. "THEE" Ohio State beat No. 15 Michigan 27-9 last week and also defeated Texas earlier in week 1 another top 20 team.

The matchup also offers the Heisman race top two contenders in Ohio State sophomore quarterback Julian Sayin is a top contender for the 2025 Heisman trophy.  He has completed 78.9% of his throws for 3,065 yards, with 30 touchdowns and just five interceptions. 

The favorite to win the 2025 Heisman Trophy is Indiana junior quarterback Fernando Mendoza. Mendoza has a 184.8 quarterback rating with 2,641 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns, and five interceptions. He also had 216 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns

Series History:

The Ohio State Buckeyes lead the all-time series, 81-12-5 against the Hoosiers. Ohio State has won 29 straight meetings against Indiana dating all the way back to 1990. Indiana's last win against Ohio State came in 1988, a 41-7 victory in Bloomington. Ohio State won last year's matchup 38-15, which helped catapult Ryan Day's Buckeye team to a 2024-25 National Championship.

Weather:

The weather won’t be a factor in this game, as the roof will be closed at Lucas Oil Stadium.  It will be the first indoor game this season for both teams, so you'll get the best from both teams no flukes.
