With non-conference play officially over for all teams, it is that time of year to begin weekly conference power rankings. The Big Ten is looking like one of the top conferences in college basketball behind the SEC.

Indiana is holding their ground near the top of the conference, but let's see how the Hoosiers stack up against the rest of the conference.

Minnesota sits at the bottom of the Big Ten as the only team without a conference win. The Golden Gophers have struggled this season, starting out 8-3, and now sit at 0-3 in Big Ten play.

Northwestern was the one team in the Big Ten that has been able to bring down Illinois, but other than that, the Wildcats' season has been one of struggle, starting out 1-3 in Big Ten play and 10-5 so far.

Washington's first season in the Big Ten, like many of the other new Big Ten conference members, has not gone the way they hoped as they are 1-3 in conference play right now with losses to UCLA, USC, and Illinois.

Maryland had a solid start to the season, starting off 10-1, but once Big Ten play started, the Terrapins have now gone 1-3. Maryland's losses came from Purdue, Washington, and Oregon.

Rutgers has had to play a few games for their leading scorer, Dylan Harper, who has been out with an illness, but star freshman Ace Bailey has burst onto the scene for the Scarlet Knights. However, it hasn't been enough, as the Scarlet Knights are just 8-6 and 1-2 in the Big Ten.

In their first season in the Big Ten, USC is having a tough time keeping up as they went 8-3 in non-conference play and 1-2 in Big Ten play, with their one win coming against former Pac-12 foe Washington and their losses coming from Oregon and Michigan.

It seemed as though Ohio State was going to have a big year until they picked a couple of losses, and now, in Big Ten play, they are just 1-2, with their only win against Indiana and their two losses coming from Maryland and Michigan State.

The Iowa Hawkeyes had a tough non-conference schedule, with one game being against a tough Iowa State team. The Hawkeyes have started the Big Ten playoff on the wrong foot with losses against Michigan and Wisconsin.

Wisconsin was another team out of the Big Ten that started the season in the Top 25 rankings and has since fallen out. The Badgers have had a tough time since Big Ten play started, losing two of their first three to Michigan and Illinois.

Penn State has looked great at times but struggled at other times. The Nittany Lions are coming off a 77-71 loss to Indiana this past weekend, where they couldn't beat a team without their leading scorer and allowed their big man to run all over them. Right now, most Penn State fans are still focused on football.

After starting the season hot with an undefeated non-conference slate, the Ducks have since fallen twice in Big Ten play to UCLA and Illinois. The Ducks will now have to play a daunted Big Ten schedule, which will look a little different from their old Pac-12 schedule.

UCLA is coming off their third loss of the season and their first of Big Ten play at the hands of Nebraska this past weekend. The Bruins have shown some good fights as of late, with wins over Oregon, Arizona, adn Gonzaga.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are coming off a big win over a ranked UCLA team that had been very hot of late. However, the Cornhuskers have not been able to crack the Top 25, but with some more signature wins, they could work their way up.

After a National Championship appearance last season and losing some key players, Purdue is still ranked in the Top 25 but has definitely fallen from grace a bit. The Boilermakers are 3-1 in the conference with their only loss in the Big Ten coming from Penn State.

As the highest-ranked AP Top 25 team in the Big Ten, Illinois is 3-2 in the conference, with their only conference loss coming at the hands of Northwestern. The Fighting Illini have signature wins over Oregon, Wisconsin, and Arkansas.

After starting the season in the AP Top 25 rankings, the Hoosiers have since dropped out, but are now close to the top of the Big Ten starting out 3-1 in conference play with their only loss coming to Nebraska earlier in the season. The Hoosiers did just lose their leading scorer Malik Reneau for an unknown period of time.

The Michigan Wolverines are back in the AP Top 25, coming in at No. 24. The Wolverines are 3-0 in the Big Ten with wins over an early ranked Wisconsin team, Iowa, and USC. The Wolverines also have more than one AP Top 25 win under their belts.

Head coach Tom Izza had led his team to first place in the Big Ten, starting out conference play 3-0 with wins over Minnesota, Nebraska, and Ohio State. The Spartans are the second-highest-ranked Big Ten team in the latest AP Top 25 rankings.
