Former Indiana Hoosiers center Mike Katic has officially landed a new gig in football as he will be joining Barstool Sports.

Mike Katic was projected as a late day three pick in the upcoming NFL Draft or an undrafted free agent but he will be putting his NFL dreams on hold as he will join Barstool Sports' live midday show, “The Yak,” hosted by Dave "Big Cat" Katz.

Katic started 50 games on the offensive line during his six-year career. Katic also has experienced just about everything a player possibly can, so he will have plenty of stories to tell playing six years at IU.

He was a redshirt his freshman year, fourth on the depth chart early on and has switched multiple offensive line positions including coaching changes, multiple offensive coordinators and two head coaches.

The news comes on the heels of Portnoy announcing that Bussin’ With the Boys hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan will be departing the company.

“I’m pumped. This is what I think I was born to do,” Katic said on The Yak. “Football’s great, but I think this is my thing.” stated Katic

“I’m so blessed to be here. Great decision. I was doing the combine thing today, and I was like, ‘You know, if this job didn’t come up, I would actually be training for the actual combine.’ So I’m really excited to be here.”
