Per a report from 247Sports, Indiana defensive coordinator Bryant Haines has agreed to a new deal with the Hoosiers according to Matt Zenitz.
No specific numbers were reported, but Haines will remain with the team at least another season after being one of the most sought after coordinators in this years off-season.

Haines joined Cignetti’s staff at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he coached there for two sesaon before heading to UC-Davis as linebackers coach. Haines then joined Cignetti in 2017 at Elon. He also coach under Cignetti at James Madison as defensive coordinator and linebacker coach.
Haines is currently one of five finalists for the Broyles Award, given to the top assistant coach in all of college football. Haines was also a semifinalist for the award in 2023 at James Madison, under head coach Curt Cignetti. The winner will be announced on Feb. 13.
Cignetti only lost one assistant coach from his historic season at Indiana. Quarterbacks coach Tino Sunseri left to become UCLA’s offensive coordinator after his first season at IU.
Indiana was a top ten defense in the nation last season as is looking to repeat their major success as they return stars on that side of the ball including; defensive end Mikail Kamara, linebacker Aiden Fisher, cornerback D’Angelo Ponds and safety Amare Ferrell.
