ESPN recently came up with their way-too-early 2025 All-America Team and three Indiana stars were named to the ESPN's 'Way-Too-Early' All-America team.

Expectations are at an all-time high for Indiana football and their three returning All-Americans from the 2024 season have a huge deal in making Indiana one of the best teams in the nation. Those three All-Americans are all on defense and includes: Junior cornerback D'Angelo Ponds, and seniors Mikail Kamara and Aiden Fisher.

These predictions on the All-American list were not based on returning players with the best statistics, but rather their projection to be most impactful at their positions in 2025.

Mikail Kamara (Defensive End)

The Ashburn, Virginia, native finished third in the Big Ten in with 10 sacks and second in tackles for loss with 15 (TFL). Kamara who transferred from James Madison with Ponds, and Fisher also had 47 total tackles over the Hoosiers’ 13 games this season.

Aiden Fisher (Inside Linebacker)

Fisher led the Hoosiers with 108 total tackles, which ranked third in the Big Ten Conference. Fisher has had an inrcredible first season at Indiana after transferring from James Madison. Fisher was named First Team All-American by the (FWAA) Football Writers Association of America, First Team All-Big Ten and a Butkus Award Semi-Finalist.

D'Angelo Ponds (Cornerback)

Ponds had 53 tackles, nine pass breakups, 4.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions for Hoosiers. IU defensive back D’Angelo Ponds is a Second Team All-American by theFootball Writers Association of America, AP and USA Today.

The Hoosiers finished with an 11-2 record last season and have reloaded on both sides of the ball in the portal, hopefully these three All-Americans can lead a run back to the College Football Playoff in 2025.
