2026 four-star power forward Latrell Allmond took his official visit to Bloomington, Indiana in June and seemed like a lock to land with the Hoosiers but On3 Sports' and Joe Tipton have reported that Allmond has committed to the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
Allmond chose the Oklahoma State over other top contenders such as Indiana, Virginia, Maryland and Tennessee.

Allmond, a native of Richmond, Virginia, is ranked as the No. 21 overall player in the nation, according to Rivals Top-150. He’s also the No. 3 ranked power forward and the No. 2 player in Virginia.
According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, he averaged team-highs with 21 points, 2.3 blocks and a 63% field goal percentage as a high school junior. Allmond also had 7.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 44% from three point range and shot 76 percent % from the free throw line.
Allmond also had major offers from Kansas, Tennessee, Louisville, Cincinnati, Rutgers, Oklahoma, NC State, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Georgetown, Florida State, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, Providence, Texas A&M, Virginia, Villanova and Washington

Latrell Allmond was one of the stars of the NBPA Top 100 Camp, and the 6-foot-8 forward parlayed that into the June Scholastic Live Period. Playing with Petersburg (VA) High, Allmond was an offensive threat at multiple levels. He gained advantages from two and three dribbles and consistently shot the ball at a high rate.
Allmond is a noted tough guy. A player who finds winning plays consistently throughout the course of a game. A lot of that is why he is currently ranked No. 21 in the . This summer, with the Team Loaded VA program on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit, Allmond is averaging 15.0 and 7.5 rebounds while shooting 47.1 percent from three. Allmond had the baselines buzzing as he continues to be one of the biggest risers in this cycle.
Indiana currently has one commit in their 2026 class in Maryland native and guard Prince-Alexander Moody.
Head coach Darian DeVries and his staff are awaiting word from 5-star Anthony Thompson, who will announce his comittment next week on Oct. 21.
