ESPN’s top NFL Draft Analyst Mel Kiper Jr. made some big changes to his Top 10 QB rankings recently but one thing remand the same, he selected Kurtis Rourke in his top quarterback rankings.

"After a decorated career at Ohio, Kurtis Rourke opted to join  at  in 2024. That led him to a spot in the Top 10 in the Heisman Trophy voting and a College Football Playoff appearance amid the Hoosiers’ historic season."

Rourke threw for 3,042 yards and a career-high 29 touchdowns to help lead the IU offense into the CFP. He also quietly played with a , NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported, which shows his toughness that could make an impression on scouts ahead of the pre-draft process.

This season, the Canadian native led Indiana to a school-record 11 wins and an appearance in the College Football Playoff. Rourke also missed one game this season after undergoing surgery on his right thumb.

 Rourke was named the 2023 MAC Player of the Year.

He was a second-team All-Big Ten selection in 2024 for the Hoosiers.
