The Indiana Hoosiers are patiently waiting for an apology from everyone in the college football world who did think they belonged in the College Football Playoff because of how they lost to Notre Dame. They are waiting for this apology because the Fighting Irish just beat the Georgia Bulldogs, the SEC Champion, by 13 points in the All-State Sugar Bowl.
There was no stopping Notre Dame in the second half as their defense just completely picked apart Georgia's and the Fighting Irish offense was able to make plays when they needed to most.
Indiana fans are taking note of all the big media analysts who came down so hard on the Hoosiers for their play against Notre Dame when, really, this Fighting Irish team is a force to be reckoned with and could go on to win it all.
So, with a big "I told you so in mind," Indiana fans took to X (formally known as Twitter) to air out their frustration.
Indiana at least made it interesting in the end by getting an onside kick adn almost getting it a second time. With no timeouts and under two minutes, Georgia thought they could get away with short passes to the middle of the field down by 13 points.

Kirk Herbstreit can't go a season without getting some sort of backlash for a comment he makes about the College Football Playoff. Last year it was Florida State and this season it is Indiana.
A nice fruit basket will also be accepted.
The only two teams that Indiana lost to this season were Ohio State and Notre Dame, half of the teams in the Semifinal of the College Football Playoff. So, really, Indiana was one of the top teams in the country and just played some of the toughest teams.
