2024 Heisman Trophy odds: Travis Hunter new favorite, Kurtis Rourke moves up the ranks

Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke has led the Hoosiers to new heights this season after the No. 8 Hoosiers improved to 10-0 with a 20-15 win over Michigan in front of a sold out Memorial Stadium for their first 10 win season in school history.

Rourke despite missing 1.5 games due to a thumb injury at Nebraska, has had a stellar season individually with 2,410 pass yards, 10.1 ypa, 72% completion rate, 21 touchdowns to only 4 interceptions and 2 rushing TD's.

Rourke had an above average day but won on Saturday against Michigan, he completed 17-28 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns as the No. 8 Hoosiers moved on to another sweet, sweet victory.

Senior quarterback Kurtis Rourke currently sits at +1400 on Fan Duel in their newly updated Heisman odds which puts him at No. 5 overall behind Travis Hunter, Ashton Jeanty, Dillion Gabriel and Cameron Ward.

On CBS Sports Former All-ACC quarterback and analyst trio Danny Kanell, discussed a few important aspects of the upcoming Indiana vs. Ohio State game in two weeks, and Rourke’s contributions to the season thus far.

"“He brings leadership. He’s been one of the more efficient quarterbacks in the country, and I think he might creep into the Heisman conversation, maybe not after today, but if he pulled off the upset against Ohio State, I think that would be his ticket to New York City,” Kanell said, highlighting Rourke’s Heisman odds if Indiana secures a win today."
