In three college basketball seasons, sophomore forward Dawson Garcia has played for three different schools (Marquette, North Carolina, and Minnesota) and despite only playing 16 games for the Tar Heels last season due to injury, the 6-foot-11 forward has quite an impressive game.

Totaling just 20 points in his last two games and shooting 8-for-23 from the field, Garcia is hoping to get back on track after he had his best performance of the season against Ohio State on January 12, tallying 28 points and nine rebounds in the upset win for Minnesota.

The health of Garcia after sustaining an ankle injury in Sunday’s loss to Michigan is in question, as once he returned to the game he did not look the same as he has all season long.

If Garcia is healthy and ready to go, the Gophers are a completely different team with him out there. Limiting Garcia from making a huge impact has to be priority number one for Coach Mike Woodson if he wants to return back to Bloomington with another Big Ten road win.
