#3. It’s time for Trey Galloway and Tamar Bates to switch spots in the lineup

Trey Galloway absolutely earned and deserved to be the starting guard alongside Jalen Hood-Schifino when Xavier Johnson went down. Not discrediting Galloway at all.

But the shooting ability and threat that Tamar Bates brings to the lineup off the bench recently, would be a huge bump for the Hoosiers, who have struggled mightily in recent games to get off to good starts.

Galloway has always been a bundle of energy off the bench, and honestly, I think he thrives off of that energy and passion he brings to the court off the bench. Maybe Bates likes coming off the bench, with less pressure than being a starter, but it seems as though it’s time to tinker with the lineup for Coach Woodson as we approach conference play in just nine days.
