#4. Xavier Johnson continues his strong play at PG, but the offense needs to run through JHS and TJD

Along with switching onto both Caleb Love and R.J. Davis all night, Xavier Johnson performed well on both sides of the floor. Johnson contributed to holding Love to just 13 points on 31.3 percent shooting and Davis to only 11 points on 36.4 percent shooting.

Johnson offensively happened to put together 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, and just two turnovers. X shot 6-for-12 from the field and 8-for-10 from the free throw line, and seemingly padded his stats at the end of the game, knocking down free throws.

Although Johnson shot 50.0 percent from the field and only logged two turnovers, the Hoosiers need to run their offense through Jalen Hood-Schifino and Trayce Jackson-Davis for continued success this season. Johnson takes out-of-control shots and tends to get hot-headed after turning the ball over, which is not something Mike Woodson should see in his starting point guard.
